The Advanced Parallax Programme
The Advanced Parallax Programme is designed to develop your understanding of how you can apply the inner resources that have already been surfaced in your initial Parallax Programme. Having become aware of the new choices available to you, now is the time when you can really start to understand the full benefits of executive coaching. At this advanced level, you will learn how to consolidate the changes you have already made and continue to develop over the coming year.
New Ventures
"Man cannot discover new oceans, unless he has the courage
to lose sight of the shore."
Andre Gide
The Advanced Programme is designed to; ensure you are able to manage yourself more effectively, be more self-reliant, boost you confidence and allow you to reach the stage where you are welcoming challenge as a friend. The journey to mastering your personal goals is underway and you will now be looking for the next step, the next challenge, as you bring forward resources hitherto untapped.
One of the major objectives of the Advanced Programme is to help people towards the achievement of the personal mastery, a journey which you began in your Parallax Programme. As an apprentice master, you will learn to recognise and enjoy the journey, not just strive for the destination. It is here that limited motivations and distractions are rife and the temptation to put off to tomorrow in favour of the quick fix is all around us. Living in the moment, and making changes now to achieve your outcome, is a liberating and powerful catalyst for change. Let's face it, when you feel good things often go well!

Programme Objectives
The Programme is enabling, consolidating the changes that you have already made, whilst, where appropriate, continuing your developmental journey. The process of human development is evolutionary and starting from what you have achieved at the end of your initial Parallax Programme, we will explore what is required to take you to the next level. Some of the areas we may be exploring together include:
- What does a "good job" look like?
- How do you manage your own environment and resources
- Regaining and taking control of your actions
- Moving towards the "FLOW" state.
- EQ v. IQ and the emotional hijack vs resonance
- Solutions not problems
- Motivational styles
- Transforming thought into action/emotional fields
- Conscious and sub-conscious re-modelling
- Transforming self - concept
The Programme
The Programme consists of an initial calibration session. This is considered to be a "sponsored session" until you are happy to progress, at which point it acts as the first of a total of six one-to-one sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, usually held every 6-8 weeks. (The spacing of sessions can be varied depending upon individual requirements).
Additionally, there will be a full day coaching session (4 sessions) in the form of The The Experiential Metaphor™. Here you will have the opportunity to further raise your level of self awareness and experience making change happen. This time, you will have a horse to guide you!
The Experiential Metaphor™
Your "Personal Challenge" will stretch your comfort zone and will usually take place at, or after, session 3. Held near Stow-on-the-Wold in Gloucestershire, you will take time out to release your creative, right-brain, enabling you to draw parallels from your own experience with issues and opportunities that are current in your life. This process allows you to become more aware and authentic, giving you greater understanding of yourself and more choices for the way you want your life to be!
During the remainder of the Programme, you can expect tasks to be set after each coaching session, encouraging you to put into practice your new insights and strategies. This will assist you in gaining maximum benefit from the coaching process. You will be encouraged to keep regular telephone contact with your Coach, sharing observations, ideas and awareness. In so doing, you will be developing a continuous learning and support mechanism.
"To laugh is to risk appearing the fool,
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental,
To reach out for another is to risk involvement,
To expose feelings is to risk exposing true self,
To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss,
To love is to risk not being loved in return,
To live is to risk dying,
To hope is to risk despair,
To try is to risk failure,
But risk must be taken, because the greatest
hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing,
has nothing, and is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn,
feel, change, grow, love, live.
Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave, he has forfeited freedom.
Only a person who risks - is free."
