In today's challenging business environment it has never been more important to look at the resource and investment that is available within successful corporations, and ensure that every opportunity is being taken to maximise value and return on this investment. It has often been said that the biggest investment in any organisation is people and this still provides the opportunities for greatest return and results!

Red ArrowsAt some time in our lives, we have all experienced the success and collective excitement, respect and personal satisfaction a dynamic team effort has brought. The thought "We just could not have achieved that by ourselves" is paramount.

At the same time we are equally aware of the damage that a dysfunctional team can bring. "Why on earth did you not let me know?/ask me for help?/ use my team?" It is clear which is the most desirable and productive, however why is the lament of "We're not working together as a team" - so loud?

In order to effect the greatest change logic would dictate that you influence that part of the system that can have the biggest effect on the whole, and so it is with these imaginative and pragmatic one and two day Programmes have been designed to challenge the thinking and behaviours of busy senior executives, whom by definition may have to work on their own initiatives, but are required (due to their status and organisational operating procedures) to also work as an effective team.

This new breed of businessman requires groups to be able to change and behave in a more fluid and flexible manner (for the larger companies to be as nimble as their suppliers!) and often needing to change direction and lead change within their sector with limited information and support, especially within this modern fast-changing environment.

The Parallax Team Challenge Programmes will test the fundamentals (tackling issues such as resonant leadership, trust ,expectation, empathy, and role clarity) in order to create a dynamic, effective high performance team, that sets standards throughout the organisation and is capable of understanding and managing performance of themselves and others, through belief and effective communication.

 

Methodology

Our Programmes include effective calibrations using tools such as "360°" feedback process, and /or Firo Element B assessment, as part of an effective Team Development Programme whereby a number of cleverly designed initiatives and tasks will be undertaken with the team being constantly challenged and evaluated under demanding situations. These Bespoke Programmes will be a foundation and benchmark, for growth, allowing the team to continue the learnings within their own group meetings and discussions, with the added benefit of taking some of the ideas and filtering them down through their own managed teams within the organisation.

A tailored one-on-one follow on Coaching Programme to support and address key behaviours within the team may be added at this stage, reinforcing the change processes that have already started, and establishing them as future best practice in your team.
