Moving Into Stillness - Building Resilience

The 21st Century Executive is constantly being asked to operate at peak performance levels in the face of a relentless and high volume work load. As a result, many of us are running flat out to meet the demands placed upon us in our work. Not surprisingly, the number of executives suffering from stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic health problems is on the rise.

Chronic stress has a far reaching physiological and psychological impact on individuals. This immediately takes a toll in the workplace through, for example, impaired decision-making, absenteeism or lack of engagement. Whilst businesses seek ways in which to harness human potential, individuals place increasing value in bringing their lives back into balance, creating harmony, greater vitality and peace of mind.

Meditation allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation. In this age, the restful awareness we experience during meditation is more valuable than ever. Even as your body is resting deeply in meditation, your mind is awake, though quiet. When we meditate regularly, we not only experience profound physiological benefits, we create a sense of inner calm and stillness.

The Programme: ‘Moving into Stillness - Building Resilience’

In this programme - running over two half days (each half day separated by a week) - you will learn more about the origins and impact of stress, as well as how our unconscious choice-making can inadvertently keep us locked into unhelpful and unhealthy behaviour patterns. In addition, you will be personally instructed in an individualized meditation technique which will provide the basis for your own life-long antidote to stress.
